Caroline has spent 30 years in Finance leadership roles, including 10 years as Chief Financial Officer in complex global organisations in both the Travel and FMCG sectors. She has led business strategy and performance management as well as playing a leadership role in mergers, acquisitions, business sale, transformation, control & compliance programmes and has led work to ensure companies are both investing where it matters & managing their spend effectively to achieve profitable growth. In her early career, Caroline trained in audit with Deloitte and spent 15 years in leadership roles at Diageo, a FTSE top 10 company. She has an Economics degree from Cambridge, is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with ICAEW and is a qualified Corporate Treasurer.
Caroline is passionate about both Diversity and Learning & Development. She is a Founding Member and Board Advisor to Potentia, an organisation supporting women in Finance to achieve CFO and Board level roles through mentoring. She believes that no-one is ever ‘finished learning’ and that education has a key role to play in inspiring children and helping them to achieve their potential.
